Blepharoplasty removes excess skin and adjusts fat in the upper or lower eyelids. It lifts heavy lids, smooths under-eye bags and gives the eyes a more rested look.

With age, eyelid skin stretches and fat can bulge forward. Upper lids may feel heavy or even block vision, and lower lids can develop bags that make you look tired.
For the upper lids, Dr. Sood removes excess skin through an incision hidden in the natural eyelid crease. For the lower lids, the incision sits just below the lashes or inside the lid, and fat is removed or repositioned to smooth the area.
Upper and lower eyelid surgery can be done separately or together, and are often combined with a brow lift.

You may be a good candidate if you are healthy, have no serious eye conditions, and are bothered by heavy lids or under-eye bags.
If your question is not here, bring it to consultation. Nothing is too small to ask.
